Can I See My Asylum Clock in EOIR Respondent Access?

Yes. EOIR states that people with access to Respondent Access can view the asylum clock for their case in the Court Information section.

Why you should keep a record

If the clock matters to an employment-authorization question or another procedural issue, save the information you see rather than relying on memory.

Record:

  • the date you checked;
  • the number or status shown;
  • the next scheduled hearing date; and
  • any recent event that may have affected the case schedule.

A screenshot or PDF printout can be useful for your own records.

Seeing a number in the portal does not by itself answer whether you qualify for employment authorization or whether a delay is attributed to you. Those questions can depend on current rules and case-specific facts.

Use the clock as a recordkeeping tool and get qualified advice for eligibility questions.
